Do you ride safely, my wife and I almost hit a young boy on a bike last week. He was wearing black clothes and had no lights. Do you know how to ride safely at night?
Here is a link for some tips.

L’argomento principe dovrebbe rimanere questo, appunto. Vuoi battezzarti? Battezzati. Non vuoi abortire? Non abortire. Vuoi imporre il tuo credo sull’aborto alle masse, e lo usi per di più come obolo di scambio politico con una maggioranza di governo (questa, tra l’altro?). Beh, vai a farti fottere.
ZapperZ (at Physics and Physicists) recently had a post about Chad (from Uncertain Principles). It was sort of a review of Chad’s book How to Teach Physics to Your Dog. In this post, ZapperZ makes a very Feynman-like distinction between “teaching physics” and “teaching about physics”. This is a really good point – that to learn physics you have to do physics. I completely agree. It is just like riding a bike – you have to ride a bike to learn to ride a bike. So here is the question. What do I do here on this blog? I don’t know. Do I talk about physics? Yes? I do not teach physics – because I don’t believe that I ever teach. In class, I like to consider myself a learning facilitator rather than a teacher. Still, what about this blog. First, I write stuff because I enjoy analyzing situations that I see in everyday life and on the interwebs. Could this help people learn? I am sure for some people it can (at least for some people). Could my posts inspire others to learn physics? Again, I…

twat! these guys need the space. imagine 10 million bikes chained to poles all over the street. they are building the future: green, aesthetic, orderly cities built for people, not engines
“Hi Susan. Thanks for your support – he might come around eventually. PS I prefer the little one too – much cuter. Though the one with the long hair might be more fun to be with as he likes model trains and lego and stuff. PPS there is a Facebook Group you can join: Vote Jeremy Clarkson to cycle from Oxford to Paris with Cycle4Sobell”:

All the answers are good but left out one important thing- buy a pump with a built in pressure gauge. It's important to use the right pressure and you need a gauge to do that. In US, <$20.
That is something that you usually don’t see featured in collages like this one, 1:11 -1:19. They usually have pictures of some skinny, flat butt, “pretty” face white girl with blond hair. So, bravos to the maker:)
