you commission as an officer by completing ROTC aka military science…. if thats what you mean by the military science minor, then its a 4 year active duty contract of i believe its 8 years reserves. and then some time as a sleeper cell (they rarely call you out of it unless your skills are highly needed i.e. doctors and etc.) Talk to the ROTC program or the PMS (professor of military science) at your for more info.

if air cooled cruiser….would be best to be at least a 1200cc. they'd be about medium sized. water cooled cruiser…800cc's u'd be able to handle without a problem. just stay away from the sport bikes. they dont ride long distances well, and 8 out of 10 of them have too much power for u to handle as a rookie. btw, as a rookie, u cant be on interstates….interstates would be just a bit too much for u to handle. if something goes wrong, ur reaction time is measured in seconds…or fractions thereof. look around on cycletrader.com….u might get lucky on a deal.
